Introduction
Modern solar controllers like the SunHopper®-D monitor dozens of parameters. While most faults fall into primary categories, some rare events may trigger generic "Other Fault" alerts.
These can include internal self-test failures, communication timeouts with the optional wireless display, or sensor calibration issues.
General Troubleshooting
Power Cycle Recovery

Turn off both PV and AC breakers.

Wait 60 seconds for internal capacitors to discharge.

Re-enable power and check if error persists.
Alert Monitoring

Check for specific fault sub-codes on the app.

Ensure your internet connection is active for cloud logs.

Contact support if the error reappears immediately after reset.
